My goal for this company is to help others build new, or improve existing, systems to optimize current or future programs.
I have a B.S. in Geology and have worked for over 15 years in the mining and drilling industry across North and South America, Australia and Eastern Europe in roles with two of the largest companies in mining and land drilling. Rio Tinto (mining) is ranked in the Global 500 list and Major Drilling (drilling) is in the top five for land based drilling service providers in the world.
One of my best assets comes from having worked on “both sides of the fence” as the mine/company operator (for Rio) and the service provider (with Major). This understanding of what both groups need, coupled with my background in Geology, allows me to approach challenges through the appropriate perspective and offer valuable insights for my clients.
Additionally, having run such large scale projects and advised on many others in different stages of execution, I have developed a strong ability to develop highly efficient, auditable systems. With proper implementation, these systems reduce the need for additional resources to manage the program. I also have a lot of experience with new technologies and utilize innovation to further deliver efficiency improvements.
Lastly, because BTK Solutions LLC is owner-operated, my clients get direct service 100% of the time without paying for additional overhead. I am very comfortable with travel to sites and fully understand the high demand for after-hours work in an industry that largely operates 24/7 schedules.
